    Taco Terrier |United States|

The Taco Terrier was developed primarily in the United States by crossing Chihuahuas with Toy Fox Terriers to produce a very small but sporty companion dog. Tacos combine the best of both parent breeds and are generally easy to train and obedient. These dogs can get along well with other dogs but do need to be carefully and consistently socialized from an early age. Tacos are normally outgoing, playful, and affectionate dogs that, given their small size, are suitable for apartment living. However, they do enjoy a good walk or play session outside and often retain terrier-like instincts for hunting and digging. The Taco is a good watchdog, but can also be prone to barking if left alone for long periods.
