Peruvian inca orchid |Peru|

Peruvian inca orchid |Peru|

These charismatic dogs are known by a number of different names including the Moonflower Dog and are distinctive by their hairlessness, although they can also have some fur—usually on the head, tail, and feet—or even a full coat (although the coated variety is not used as a show dog). The skin of the hairless variety requires some care to prevent sunburn, injury, and skin conditions such as dryness. On the plus side, they are exceptionally clean dogs, free from most odor, and can be suitable for people with allergies.

Smaller dogs seem to be more sensitive to the cold than larger ones, and Peruvian Inca Orchid puppies get chilled easily.
