    Miniature Pinscher |Germany|

There is much speculation surrounding the development of this feisty little breed, which is commonly known as the “Min-Pin.” They are believed to have developed from German Pinschers crossed with Dachshunds and Italian Greyhounds several hundred years ago; their likeness appears in historic artwork. They arrived in the United States in 1919 and gained American Kennel Club recognition in 1929. Min-Pins are fearless, lively, inquisitive, and selfpossessed dogs that can be independent and stubborn.
