    Alaskan Klee Kai |United States|

The Alaskan Klee Kai is a relatively new breed that was developed in the 1970s in Wasilla, Alaska, by Linda Spurlin and her family. Siberian and Alaskan Huskies were used in the breed’s foundation, along with smaller Spitz-type dogs such as the Schipperke and American Eskimo Dog to reduce the size. These are lively, charismatic, devoted animals that make superb family companions and worthy watch dogs. This rare breed is divided into three size categories: toy, miniature, and standard.
