No need to worry. This
behavior is fairly normal in puppies that have recently
been separated from their littermates. (They play with
one another’s tails.) In all likelihood, the puppy
doesn’t immediately realize she’s chasing her own tail;
then once the chase is on, she doesn’t care. The best
way for to address this problem is to distract the puppy
with a toy.
