EATING FECES OUTSIDE

Why does my dog want to stop and eat the feces of geese, birds and other dogs whenever we go for a walk?

Please read the answer to the previous question; coprophagy, the act of eating feces, is not unusual in the animal world. Dogs are joined by a long list of animals, including wolves and rabbits that engage in this behavior. In most cases, this habit will not harm a pet. However, if you want to break their pet of this habit, you can do so through leash training, pulling a dog away with a firm “no” whenever he makes a move to the forbidden substance. A halter head type collar is very effective in this type of leash training situation.
