Different dogs do best
with different types of bowls. Toy breeds feel less
comfortable sticking their heads in deep bowls, so they
do best with small, shallow models. Larger breeds prefer
wider, deeper bowls. Dogs with long, floppy ears should
have narrow bowls that will keep their ears out of their
food. Food and water should be given in two separate
bowls. Having one bowl with two compartments can result
in the food becoming wet. Minimum bowl size should be
one quart for water and two cups for food.
