It may seem strange to us, but some kittens – as well as
some cats – enjoy dozing off in a clean litter box. Your
kitten probably regards his litter box as a comfortably
safe and secure place that has been marked by scent as
his territory.
In most cases, a kitten or new cat will eventually find
a new sleeping spot as he becomes more confident in his
surroundings. You can hasten this process by providing
the kitten with a comfortable cat bed.
