Housing Aquative Amphibians

The majority of amphibian pets will do well in semi-aquatic terrarium, but all-aquatic species such as some newts should be housed in an aquarium filled to the half-way level with water. A floating object, such as cork board, should be fixed in place in the water to provide the animal with a dry resting spot. Water temperature should be maintained at the optimal level with an aquarium heater.
