Flea Shampoos

A wide variety of effective flea shampoos are available. Shampooing is a convenient form of flea control, since it can be done as a normal part of the dog’s bathing routine. A flea dip, which is absorbed by the dog’s skin, offers longer lasting protection against infestation, and is used for more serious problems. Always follow the manufacturer’s directions carefully when applying these products. Most flea shampoos must be left on the dog’s coat for 10 minutes to allow the insecticide ingredient enough time to kill all fleas.
