Cage
The recommended size of the macaw’s cage varies, depending on the size of the animal.  For small macaws, a cage at least 18 inches long, 18 inches wide and 24 inches high is advisable.  For bigger species, the cage should be 5 feet long, 5 feet wide and 5 feet high.  All macaw cages should be made out of very strong material such as wrought iron.
